Dry skin can be described more as finer and close-textured. Dry skin will likely feel tighter after it has been washed with soap. Dry skin is also more likely to flake and develop lines and wrinkles faster than those with skin someone who has balanced or oily skin.
Essential Oils you can use for Dry Skin would be Jasmine, Lavender, German or Roman Chamomile, Rose, Neroli, Sandalwood or Geranium.
Oily Skin
Oily Skin can be described as skin that has bigger more pronounced pores and appears shiny. Individuals with oily skin are more likely to develop acne, blackheads and other types of spots.
Essential Oils you can use for Oily Skin would be again Lavender, Grapefruit, Sandalwood, Geranium or Cyprus.
Combination Skin
Combination Skin can be described as when a T-zone is formed between the nose, chin and forehead. You will likely have dry skin around the neck, checks and eyes.
Essential Oils to use for Combination Skin would be again either your German or Roman Chamomile, Lavender, Rose, Geranium or Frankincense.
Sensitive Skin
Sensitive Skin can be described as any of the skin types mentioned above or skin that has a tendency to become sensitive after more harsh chemicals, cleansers or even cosmetics have been applied. With sensitive skin it is best to use small concentration of oils and always conduct a patch test on a small spot of your skin first.
Essential Oils to use for Sensitive Skin would be your German or Roman Chamomile, Lavender, Rose and Neroli.
Thread Veins
Thread Veins can be described as the broken veins or capillaries that are generally found across the cheeks and around the nostrils. This can affect all different skin types but most likely those with sensitive skin.
Essential Oils to use on Thread Veins would be yet again, either your German or Roman Chamomile, Neroli, Rose Frankincense and Geranium.
Aging Skin
Aging Skin can best be described as skin that has deteriorated and needs toning and nourishment. Aging skin appears to sag and droop, is dry, sometimes is discolored and has wrinkles.
