When I was a kid, getting sunburned happened . . .a lot.  Not so much now that I am an adult but, my sister and my nephews are both very fair complected and burn easily.  My kids end up looking like little Indians by the end of the summer because they tan so well.  So, you can make your own after sun spray with essential oils.  I'm going to make some up and give to my sister in case herself or her b oys get burned. I had a horrible sinus headache.  My face hurt, my forehead and my neck were just all filled with pressure and pain.  So, I turned to my oils.  I knew that I had seen a recipe for a Sinus Bomb and I decided I would try that out.  It was amazing!! All I did was simply apply 1-3 drops each of R.C., Peppermint and thieves to the bottom of my feet and to the sinus area.  It was so calming and soothing to the pain and pressure I was feeling in my face! You can also put a drop of each of the three oils above into hot water, place a towel over steam and deeply inhale the steam. https://www.myyl.com/wrightmomx3

Not sure which carrier oil to use?

Argan Oil  is one of our all-time favorites as a natural hair care solution. You’ll find it as a derivative in many of our products to boost hydration and shine. Benefits range from deeply nourishing your hair to repairing split ends and taming frizz. In addition to being a great carrier oil for your hair, it has a wide variety of applications for your skin and nails. Apply it to callused feet to improve cracks in heels and to nail cuticles to strengthen brittle nails. Use of  Castor Oil  as a beauty agent goes back to the ancient Egyptians. A low comedogenic rating makes this oil safe to apply directly to the skin to help seal in moisture without clogging pores (thereby improving the skins barrier). It can also be applied to sunburns to help sooth affected areas or as a natural lip balm for chapped lips. Not only that but application to the hair and nails promotes growth and strength respectively. While  Coconut Oil  has a myriad of uses that range from...

Aching Joints? There's an oil for that too!

If you suffer from aching joints and/or arthritis, there are 5 essential oils that work wonders!  Lavender, Sage, Thyme, Eucalyptus and Peppermint! I've used peppermint myself before on an aching forehead/sinus cavity and it works wonders! Peppermint essential oil has high levels of menthol in it and this has the ability to potentially act as a natural anesthesia and calm the nerve endings. Sage essential oil is a natural pain reliever and can be diluted and added to a roller bottle and applied directly to the surface of those aching joints to aid in the relief. Eucalyptus essential oil amazingly was proven when inhaled for 30 minutes daily, for three days in a row, osteoarthritis sufferers felt a reduced amount of pain. Lavender essential oil is made up of natural analgesic and anti-rheumatic properties, and is said to be one of the top oils for rheumatoid arthritis. Thyme essential oil is also known for its analgesic properties and has the ability to potentially help ...

the smell of lemon, especially in my kitchen.  Two of the biggest crime fighters you can have in your kitchen are Lemon and Lemon Vitality essential oils.  Not only do they just smell great, but they can also help out in a variety of other ways. 1.  Get rid of funky awful smells. 2.  Picking the right refreshment. 3.  Mood booster. 4.  Rescue your kitchen sink. 5.  Creating delectable desserts.

What's in your diffuser today?

Image
In my diffuser today I am running Thieves.  It has a very unique but spicy and fun smell and I love it throughout my house.  I know so many people who run this oil on a daily basis, year round and it aids in  keeping them healthy and well.  There are so many health benefits and uses to Thieves oil. Do you have smelly, musty carpets?  You can use Thieves oil to help!  Just add 5 drops of Thieves oil to a cup of baking soda, mix well until the oil is completely absorbed and then let sit overnight.  Then just sprinkle over carpets and vacuum up. Looking to create a peaceful and secure environment?  Again, Thieves can do just that.  Diffuse 6-8 drops of Thieves.  You can even spice it up a bit and add a few drops of Tangerine, Orange or Nutmeg essential oils to the mix. Do you have a smelly dishwasher or can't send the smell of dishwater?  Add a few drops of Thieves oil to your dishwasher to make your dishwasher odor free.  Y...

Welcome!

Ok, so I just recently signed up to sell Young Living Essential Oils and I'm excited to give this a try.  I have been using oils now for about a year and really signed up so that I could learn more and help educate others.  In the last three years, I have somewhat lost all hope with traditional modern medicine and I'm not sharing this for a pity party or anything, this is just why I've started to resort to oils.  I had back surgery 2  years ago to remove what the doctor said was one of the worst cases he had ever seen in his practice (I was 35 at the time).  I had a bulging disk that had ruptured at the L5-S1 that had ultimately cut the fluid off to my spine, causing me to lose feeling in the back of my left leg and left foot.  I also had severe sciatic pain as well.  I was told that after the surgery it was very likely I would regain the feeling in my foot and leg and I would be able to resort back to normal living - pain free.  Surgery was a bre...
