Welcome!

Ok, so I just recently signed up to sell Young Living Essential Oils and I'm excited to give this a try.  I have been using oils now for about a year and really signed up so that I could learn more and help educate others.  In the last three years, I have somewhat lost all hope with traditional modern medicine and I'm not sharing this for a pity party or anything, this is just why I've started to resort to oils.  I had back surgery 2  years ago to remove what the doctor said was one of the worst cases he had ever seen in his practice (I was 35 at the time).  I had a bulging disk that had ruptured at the L5-S1 that had ultimately cut the fluid off to my spine, causing me to lose feeling in the back of my left leg and left foot.  I also had severe sciatic pain as well.  I was told that after the surgery it was very likely I would regain the feeling in my foot and leg and I would be able to resort back to normal living - pain free.  Surgery was a breeze, I walked out on my own.  Several weeks after surgery, I had the feeling of something still in my back, something like a small ball and still very sore.  Ultimately, I was referred to pain management because the dr. couldn't find anything else wrong.  I did not go to pain management as I felt that is just where dr.s punt you when they don't know what else to do with you and the last thing I wanted was to end up addicted to pain meds.  So, I carry on, without sciatic pain, but still no feeling in the back of my left leg and no feeling in my left foot.

A year ago and I had had approximately 10 sinus infections and had a ct scan and was told that I needed to have sinus surgery to remove bone and the buildup that had occurred likely due to allergies.     First surgery wasn't too bad, however, after a couple months I developed a severe pain over my right eye in my frontal sinus cavity.  The dr. told me he didn't know what the problem was, put me on an antibiotic and told me that if that didn't clear it up I could come back and we could "scratch our heads together."  The pain came back and a second sinus surgery occurred on the my right side wherein a dissolvable pain relieving stint was placed in my frontal cavity and a significant amount of scar tissue had to be removed from the first surgery.  Pain was gone for several months and then 10 months after the 1st sinus surgery, I had to go in for a third surgery.  CT scan showed a complete buildup on the right side again.  The dr. had to go in and remove more scar tissue and clear out the frontal sinus cavity and again place a dissolvable pain relieving stint in my frontal sinus cavity.  I am now 8 days post-op and worry that the pain will be back.  So far, so good.

Anyway, long story short, if it weren't for Young Living Peppermint oil, I wouldn't have survived the week up to my surgery.  Just a little rub over my right eye and the severe pain went away.

I had a strange blister on the topic of my mouth a couple of months ago and after applying Thieves oil to it, it was gone.

When my kids have scratches, bug bites, whatever, I go to the oils now to find one to relieve their problems.  Prescriptions are how pharmaceutical companies make money.  Do you really think those companies want to find a cure for cancer?
